Does the price include fitting?

Yes fully fitted including all fixtures, fittings, sealants and trims.

Will my price go up on survey?

No the price is set to include all the necessary components to fit your door.
If there is an issue with the design or property the deposit is fully refundable.

Does the price include taking away the old door?

Yes the price includes the removal of the existing door set and disposal.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes we have a showroom with over 50 doors on show.

How long have you been trading?

Hainault Home Improvements is a family-owned business established in 1989.

Are your fitters fully FENSA approved?

Yes all our fitters have MTC cards.

Do your fitters work directly for the company?

Yes all our fitters work for us directly and are in our vans.

Do I get a guarantee?

On survey, our surveyor will bring a contract with him for you to sign to give you a full 10 Year guarantee.

Where are the doors made?

Our doors are manufactured in the UK by one of the UK's leading manufacturers "Door Stop International".

Are your doors fire rated?

No our standard door range is not fire rated. We do offer a separate range of FD30 fire rated composite doors. Call us to get a price on 0208 5599143.

How many keys do I get?

You will get 3 keys as standard – as we use high-security cylinders, unlike standard keys these cannot be cut by a locksmith. You will receive a key card where you can order online securely.

Can the door be fitted into my existing frame?

No, all of our doors come as complete door-sets which means the outer frame is always supplied.

Will I be left with decorating?

No the fitters will remove the frame carefully and replace all architraves with trims to suit your door set.

Can I paint the door?

No and you won't have to. Our doors have a durable GRP skin that is colour guaranteed for 10 years.

Are these set prices?

Yes all our online prices are very competitive and include an online discount. You can get a price instantly using our online door designer.

How do I place an order?

You can order directly on the website by adding your door(s) to the basket and proceeding to the checkout – a £50.00 deposit will be taken from there.

Can I change my order after it's placed?

Yes, our surveyor will be able to make any adjustments you require prior to manufacturing.

Do the doors come in standard sizes?

Our doors are all made to measure. Our surveyor will get the brick work opening size on survey to achieve the perfect fit.

What are the payment terms?

We require a £50 deposit at the time of order and we will then carry out the home survey. The remaining balance will be collected by our fitters on installation - we accept BACS, cheque, cash or credit card.

How long does the installation take?

Standard installations take 3-4 hours. We allow half a day for an install in the AM or PM (maybe even longer if its an older property).

I have an alarm/doorbell fitted, will you be able to fit this to the new door?

Our installers are not insured to fit anything electrical, so our guarantee does not cover fitting alarms unfortunately. However, if it is simply a case of relocating an existing alarm/doorbell we can usually do this as a goodwill gesture.

What is the difference between the locks?

The contemporary range has a "Slam locking system" which engages the locks automatically when the door shuts.
The handle range : has the same security as the slam lock but you simply pull up the handle to engage the locks and then turn the key.
All of these options can be changed or discussed on survey.
