It’s very to feel overwhelmed by the amount of choice you have when trying to find a composite door that you’ll love – who would have so many styles and colours were possible? We want it to be an enjoyable process for our customers and try to supply you with all the information you need to make the most informed buying decision. You can always count on us for a helping hand!
On first, second, third and subsequent inspections you would swear that a composite door was crafted from timber, but it isn’t. The reinforced hardwood inner frame set around the thermally insulated polyurethane foam core gives that impression.
GRP can easily be moulded and given a surface textured finish, similar to the one you would find on a timber door. The great thing about a composite door is that though it looks identical to timber, it doesn’t age badly like a wood crafted door.
Our doors have earned the much sought after Secured by Design accreditation. This highlights that they are fully acknowledged by the Police and meet the requirements of PAS 3621:2011, so that you can sleep a little easier at night.
Contemporary doors are expected to supply a certain level of energy efficiency in accordance with current Building Regulations. We’re delighted to inform you that our entire composite door range exceeds the expected standard of energy efficiency and will significantly cut the cost of your energy bills.
One thing you can never predict in this country is the weather! So that our composite doors can withstand extreme winds they are tested in a pressurised chamber and subjected to hurricane strength winds of up to 80MPH. During the testing phase, they’re also sprayed with 2 litres of water every minute.
It helps you to understand everything that goes into our composite doors, so we have deconstructed the design to show you how they’re made and what makes them so different. Once fitted at your home, your entranceway will be transformed and it’ll remind you why you originally fell in love with your property. Take a closer look into the ingredients used to put them together.
